Re: Planning a respray
Depends on what bodywork it will need, if there`s some metalwork to do then then it goes up by the price of new parts and labour to cut out and weld back in, but I`d budget at least 2 grand for a proper paint job. Make sure that whoever does it rakes out the seams properly, sorts any rot then rust-t...

Re: westfalia kitchen unit
There are different water level switches, depending on what year your `van is. Check that the wiring is connected to the tank, could be faulty contacts or busted level gauge, wiring fault or a faulty LED panel, they are known to get loose solder contacts on the circuit board, can sometimes be repair...

Re: T25 identification/chassis numbers
Those cast numbers are just the part ID etc,. Have a look at the chassis member that Aiden talks about, it`s stamped on the rear facing vertical face of that crossmember below the B pillar. You may have to scrape the underseal off to see it but it`ll be there. If there`s loadsa grinding marks instea...

Re: Will these alloys fit with spacers
You`re mistaken, REARS fit with NO machining, fronts DEFO need machining.
Those tyres that they come with off an Audi A3 will be no-where near up to the load rating required for a T25 van (minimum Load rating 97)

Re: Will these alloys fit with spacers
Most Audi are 112 x 5 PCD, but SOME A3 Audi wheels are 100 x 5 (low spec models of A3 uses Golf hubs which are 100 x 5)

Re: Help identify these roof brackets.......
Standard Thule type roof racks clamp onto the Westy brackets, which are just a convertor barcket really so you have a gutter-type fitting to clamp to. For info http://www.thule.com/Thule/ProductPage____83112.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Go and look in Halfords, they ...

If you get `em wacked out to 66mm the centre caps won`t fit afterwards. I usually machine `em less and sort out the offsets, grease caps etc to try and keep the original caps. What width of rims are they? What is the offset? (ET) See here for info from the Brickyard: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mic...
