Re: Sliding door falling off

That's great, thanks everyone. Yeh, it comes off it's just after I open the door i.e. the bottom roller goes through that little groove and then there's nothing keeping the door from falling out. To open the door without having to worry would be a joy! Just the problem of fixing the groove now - pre...

Sliding door falling off

Hi All, I've had this problem for a while, and just got round to sorting it out. Basically every now and again my sliding door will fall off in my hands...very annoying, and always at the worst possible moments. I've worked out that the problem is due to a groove in the rail which keeps the door fro...

Re: Radiator fan relay

Thanks Rob. Yeh, tested the termo switch on the radiator and it's not that - in fact I've had to replace that before. In terms of the water getting in, I've just recently had a new windscreen rubber fitted, so it is pretty annoying that anything is getting in. Once I've stopped the fan problem and m...

Radiator fan relay

Hi all, Not been on here for a while - perhaps correlated with the fact that my van has been going well (thanks to philippacman!). Anyway, tried my van earlier and battery completely flat - after a bit of poking worked out the radiator fan has been coming on permanently. Tried to work out why and tr...

High-top weather cover

Hi All, Anyone got any ideas where I can get an all weather cover for my camper? I know just-kampers do one but it's not suitable for high-tops which is what I have. My van's springing leaks left right and centre so figure this is a good option before I get it all water tight (if that's ever possibl...

Cheers Fritz, I actually just realised I'm being an idiot (again)- I put the handle on horizontally to match the outside handle, where it actually should go vertically... then it all makes sense.

handle upside down action

Hi, At Vanfest, as is becoming traditional, something broke on my camper. I tried to open the sliding door but the rod connecting the handle to the catch snapped (thanks Phil (philippacman) for helping me and explaining how it works). Bought a new rod and fitted it...but now to open the door from th...

Defo a Holdsworth. I've got all the same cupboards but in different places.
In fact, does anyone else have the same conversion as me i.e. the Holdsworth Vision?

Spcial VW lubricant??

Hi all, I've just taken apart the ball joint at the base of my gearstick and now have in pieces to get it clean... [IMG:800:600]http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k208/funkypaul/Gearstickstuff.jpg[/img] When I put it back together the Haynes manual says to coat everything in 'special VW lubricant'......
