Re: Dellorto DRLA 40 jetting guide
I have the guide and very handy it is too! Just a case of annoying the neighbours for a few hours to get the balance right. I got a Synchrometer vacuum gauge so shouldn't be too tricky from here. Next job is to tackle to good old fuel gauge problem - eliminated the dash end, so I know whats coming n...

Dellorto DRLA 40 jetting guide - idling but not driving so g
Guys, Ok - Dells in, one side manifold bossed for brakes and linkage sorted. Got the thing idling well (after a rough "by ear" balance) with good response when booting the pedal stationary. However, big performance issue when driving it - seems ok in 1st if i'm not too heavy on the pedal b...

Dellorto DRLA 40 jetting guide
Hi chaps, A happy new year to you all. I've finally taken delivery of 2 x Dell DRLA 40's and am fully aware that I need to re-jet these (they came of a 1.6 Alfa). Does anyone have a calc guide or any guidance which jet sizes I need to put in these beasts? I have the 2.0l CU Aircooled engine. Thanks,...

Re: Autochoke stuck open
Looks like I may have a pair of Dell DRLA 40's. I know i'll need linkage etc. but its the jetting i'm more concerned about. Does anyone know of a decent tuning/jetting shop with a rolling road in the South Norfolk/Suffolk area?
Chars,
Andrew.

Autochoke stuck open
Hi chaps, I have the 2.0lt cu Aircooled 1980 engine and the autochoke seems to be always open. If i take the air filter off the top of the twin carbs i can see the butterflies open and this is regardless of a cold or warm engine. I also notice there is a piece of wire connected to a rocker on the 'f...
