Re: OBD Comms not working
I had a similar problem with the OBD on my AGG conversion. Socket is at the front on mine and wired through the immobiliser as it is in the Golf. Worked fine using VCDS, but just stopped communicating one day. Lots of messing around, new leads, com port reconfiguration etc. And still no luck. Finall...

Re: AGG Engine Conversion - Electrics
I ran mine without a speed sensor for a bit. I think that the only impact was a slight drop in fuel economy. I didn't notice any difference when driving.

Re: 1.9dg to agg conversion
Mine was an 84 dg and didn't have the mounts, but it did already have captive nuts in the chassis rail at the back, so it was easy to weld them in the right place. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow so you can see what's what. It would be easy to fabricate them if you need to, or ideally get ...

Re: 1.9dg to agg conversion
That was for connecting the Eberspacher into the return fuel line. You won't need it if you don't have one.

Re: 1.9dg to agg conversion
Well the paint is lasting ok-ish. It's still black, but has certainly roughened up a bit over time on he rocker cover. I think this is probably down to surface preparation as much as anything. The main head is bare metal and the sump has stayed pretty black. If I did it again I don't think I woul...

Re: Cruise control instalation and alternative parts.
Hi Maxstu, You can get the part numbers from here . Just find the year you are interested in and dig down from there. It seems to go down quite often, but if you Google "ETKA online" you will find something similar. If you click on the part number then it will take you into a list of ot...

Re: Cruise control relay....?
Hi, I've been investigating this myself. I bought most of a T25 cruise control system a few years ago. This included the stalk, harness and control unit, but no pedal switches or pump / diaphragm unit. The pedal switches are quite easy to find on ebay. Switch mounts available from Brickwerks, and y...

Re: Temperature gauge reading high- t25 petrol 1900
Might be worth checking the voltage regulator on the dash. I had the same issue as you and spent a lot of time chasing it down, only to find that my regulator had gone. This allowed too much power to the dash, making the temperature gauge over read. Bit more info here: http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/fo...

Re: Westfalia Leisure battery access ?
Adrian, Yep, the ISRI seats definitely rotate under the steering wheel if you collapse them forward. The battery flap on mine hinges and there is just about room to get the battery in and out with the seat rotated. Takes a bit of fiddling though! I have had the seats out a few times, as I'm currentl...

Re: Westfalia Leisure battery access ?
I've got 2 front swivel seats in my Club Joker. I can get the leisure battery out by revolving the driver's seat 180 degrees and moving it back. Steering wheel gets in the way, but just tilt the seat forwards and it fits under the steering wheel allowing you to turn it 180. They are ISRI seats thoug...

Re: Fix your analogue clock
Yep, I was a bit worried about the temperature bit. The assistant in Maplins was being a bit thick and insisting that they only did 47mico farad capacitors (What the blithering heck?), so I had a bit of trouble finding suitable ones! I'll see how they get on over summer. Hopefully they'll be ok, but...

Re: Recovering ISRI Seats
I know someone who's just brought loads of denim for the inside of a caravan. I think they got it from a place in Slough and it was pretty cheap. Can try to find out the name if it helps?
