Re: Gearbox issue
hi aiden. its actually a 4speed but as you said i guessed the prognosis may be the same for a 5 or 4 speed. we have not played around with linkages at the moment, but he did say he felt a clunk a few days before the problem occured, so pointing towards something breaking and cracking im guessing.

Re: Heading down the Subaru route
I didn't do this install as bought it from my mate but looks pretty much the same as my ej22 conversion which I did. Main difference is the turbo clutch setup but rather than na one. Gearbox is just an AHU code originally mated to a 2.1. The exhaust is an rjes one but they have stopped selling them...

Thanks for that, I take it also that most 12v lighting and accessories come in plug and play style...? Would an inverter be able to fit into this also??

Hi people, just about to start with some interior work, and was wondering what the most simplest way of getting interior lights rigged up and maybe a socket running off a leisure battery with a split charger, and maybe get the radio rigged up to same or another battery feed.cheers

I got a set of 6x9's in there so was going to put them on a 300w amp. Wanted something a bit more though. Think I am going to have to get creative with space. I reckon a pair of twelves will be quality. Last decent sound system i had was in a mk1 gti but some sh!t bag stole it. That was my first ca...
