Re: Anti roll bar links - both busted
The van is with http://muddyfields-campervans.webs.com/. The guy running the place worked on my van for it's last MOT and has ended up setting this business up by himself. Decent hourly charge and I am short on tools, knowledge and space to do the current list of jobs.

Re: Anti roll bar links - both busted
Thanks for letting me I have been breaking the law, just the news i need to cheer me up! Landlord advertised the"drive" so has to pay the £360 the council want or lower the rent. Most of the estate do the same so I guess the local police would rather have clearer roads? Day off work booked...

Anti roll bar links - both busted
Just found out my van has two broken anti roll links. Never go fast in it, carbs need a tune for sure. Noticed that one had gone and put it in for repair to be told both have gone since last MOT. Getting on to landlord to get curb lowered as I have to bump up the curb onto the drive at present, must...

Re: Radio feed, which is the positive?
Thank you. So that will ID the positive on the battery? How do ID the positive on the radio please? Or will the bat in the meter give me necessary to test the cables going to the radio? Confused! You say the red lead is not connected to a 12v feed if the reading is zero....but I know the radio is di...

Re: Radio feed, which is the positive?
I have a meter but little know how on what to do with it! How would I identify the positive and negative cables. I am sure this is a very basic question but i did not understand electrics when at school but now have the motivation to try and work it out. A basic book is needed but right now a few hi...

Radio feed, which is the positive?
I have found the two power cables to my radio, both are two core cables. I understand one set is for radio channel memory and settings and one for powering the radio/cd. Looks like speaker cables have been used. They were removed from the leisure battery to stop the lights on the radio draining it w...

Re: single/single parent camping?
Hands up to taking my 4 and 6 year old girls camping as a single Dad. We have just had our first trip in our recently acquired van. They loved it. I have cbeebies shows on a laptop for after dark but generally too busy in the day to bother with it. No internal lights working yet but torches have bee...
