Just an update. I gave it some gentle wacks with a rubber tent peg mallet and it came off ok.

Here is a pic of the broken TC. Is it repairable in this state? Otherwise I can try and use something more solid to try and get it off the shaft.

Does it come all the way out? I have pulled it most of the way but it is trapped behind something. Maybe the TC seal?

Just pulled the box out of my pug converted camper. Torque converter is bust due to engine misalignment probably, can't get the torque converter off the gearbox.
