Took me a long time to reply, sorry.
I took off the steering wheel and found one of the 3 long screws holding the contact plate was loose, the one just under the horn contact. It had been loctited before. It only stuck up about 0.5 millimeter but that was enough. So, thanks. Problem solved.

T3 1989. When I turn the steering wheel, at a certain position, the horn goes off. Can I reroute the wire, that goes from the lower steering column down through the steering box, directly to the horn via another route?
