Thanks mate I've fitted a new ignition switch about an hour ago it sorted it out all systems go

Yep that's what am saying you can unplug all four plug connectors to the steering column and the gauges are still on . So you the ignition is the problem?

when i remove the key from the ignition the battery light stays on so dose the fuel gauge and the water temp gauge. i have removed the fuses one at a time but all three remain on .i have tryed removeing the relays one at a time but still the three remain on i have tryed the dash clocks out of my oth...

ive just got a 1988 doka 1.9 petrol .1st gear is very hard to engauge itsome time crunches when engaugeing. the ohter 3 gears are all ok until the engine has been runing for an hour then the other 3 gears are hard to selectthe gear box seems to get stiffer after an hour any one out there had a simla...

ive done a bit of checking a pre 94 audi v6 dose not have an immobilizer.will i still need the key .if i cant get the key cant i jusy get a new barrel and key or is it a eletronic key that talk to the engine so to speak. i take iam still going to need the wireing loom do i need the whole car wireing...

why cant i use the v6 gearbox it would cut down on the cost i can get the engine and gearbox for 160 pound plus the scrapyard will take it out for me. how many mpg dose a 2.2 subaru do to the gallon

ive found a j reg audi in my local scrapyard it has a v6 engine in it code AAH . i would like to put it in my campervan what i need to no is how do i do this, what parts do i need of the audi do i would i be better off fitting the audi gearbox into my campervan .Any help would be greatly appreciated...
