pmsl cheers, The battery died so i had billy my uncle(ssvc president) jump it, and whilst the engine lid was off and the van running again i decided to drive around the field (dubfreeze) to get some charge in the battery. yes like being sick in your own mouth .lol yes my dipstick turned out to have been modified(bodged) at some point and didnt give a correct reading, but every cloud and all that, im assuming the sparks were build up of carbon?
