But a standard one (21) works as a substitute - just wont light up the light on the dash when hooked up to trailer

Re: Sliding Door out of alignment

So the 2 bolts on the door side of the U ?
I probably will let them do it as I have to take it back to them anyway for pinstriping, just don't want to bugger up the catch
thanks Mickey

Sliding Door out of alignment

Hi
my van went in for some welding and the bodyshop removed the door to get at the rear wheel arch. Now its sitting 2-3mm too high at the back and the door fouls at the top and the catch snags on the way in. Could anyone tell me what might have gone wrong or how I can adjust please

Repair pinhole in headlight ?

I've got a pinhole in my headlight that lets in water, anyone got a suggestion for a long lasting weatherproof/heatproof repair ? The pinhole is on the outside, there's a scab on the inside

tia

Re: Split charge not man enough

Bradders89 I think you have a Durite voltage sensing relay, rather than a traditional one triggered by the alternator, right ? Since I have a the same relay, which works fine, my tuppence is.. the 13.3V you are talking about is the trigger on the relay to turn on the red light on and start voltage f...

Indicator Buzzer Relay ?

Hi
due to the position of my seat & steering wheel, the indicator bulbs are obscured by the wheel, any smart workaround, or a way to get the relay 191 to click louder or buzz, before i cause a crash ?

Re: VW garage/mechanic recommendation Bridgend

Thanks I got a quote from Longlife in Caerphilly and from Prospeed, who were cheaper so went with them. The install didn't go as smoothly as planned as late on a Friday Charlie ran out of gas and couldn't get the studs off the manifold, but he did it properly, squeezing me in the next week and I'm v...

VW garage/mechanic recommendation Bridgend

Hi
I am going to be down in Bridgend/Cardiff over Sept/Oct and looking to get some work done on the van which is a Golf GTI (PB) powered T3. Needs some basic work on the brakes and the oil pickup. Also looking for a custom exhaust fabricator.

cheers
