Re: rear swing arm bush removal
I use a saw to cut off ends, then a combination of blowtorch to heat and then twist remove the steel sleeve using a vicegrips, then an old wood chisel or electric drill to remove enough material across the old bushing length to 'collapse' the pressure and then push it out with a drift and hammer. Re: glow plug life
I learnt the hard way that cheap ones were only lasting 10 to 18months....from outright failure to degraded resistance....switched to Beru manufactured ones and still going strong. learnt my lesson about false economy replacement parts especially if one is fitting them oneself.

Re: Squeeky steering wheel?!?!
Would you really use vaseline (insulating & lubricating) on this? I would have thought its not suitable electrically for what is allready a precarious circuit arrangment. I would suggest using as what was originall applied but has dried up & become conbtaminated i.e. contact Grease(conductiv...

Theoretical Question
Has anyone ever converted from LHD to RHD?
On the face of it...it would be the dash, RHD steering rack, pedals, shift wipers, change Headlamps but of course its never as simple as it sounds....
