Re: Using mouth as petrol pump?
Mine syphons back to the tank if I park on a hill! I can hear air being sucked in through the fuel pump pivot after the engine has been run. I havnt sorted it out yet though, no fuel leak from pump yet but will get it replaced. Ive seen non return valves for sale on ebay, thought that might be a goo...

It will be fine as long as you have the correct coolant mix.

Re: Lumpy engine on tick over
Brake servo hose and various other vacuum leaks were making mine run crap. When the engines running, grab hold of the servo hose and see if the revs rise.

Re: Fuel mixture co setting and timing
Should it get to a point where I cant suck it any further? as at the mo I can keep putting vacuum through it endlessly. I can hear the diaphragm moving though, will take the dizzy off tomorrow and have a look to see if its moving.

Re: Alloy wheel welding
Ive had an alloy wheel welded that's on my golf though not the van, that's been fine for a couple of years now, yours is probably showing you that the weight loading is wrong on the rim. Low profile tyres wont help either.

Re: Saab 93 seats
Don't know what model mine are from but I kept the van rails and borrowed my t25 seat runners and made them fit the Saab seats, also cut the height down as low as we could get them.
They now fit in as per original seats will go out and measure floor to seat base in a mo.
