mine's a tintop and when I eventually finish the rebuild I've got a flexibe solar panel to fit , did you drill through the roof to get the cables inside ralph ? that was the only concern with mine I did a trial fit and couldn't decide the best way as running them through the rear vents looked a bit ...

well after a long time I finally managed to get my van into the bodyshop , it was looking a bit tired and needed some TLC , mechanically I've looked after it and it's had anything it needed and quite a few things it didn't ! I'm a car painter by trade and work in a bodyshop so im lucky in that respe...

have you checked your brake lights are working paul ? when my light came on it was because the sensors ( I have 2 but mines an early van ) had packed up , I had one on the master cylinder and one just behind the dash .

I think the heater and wipers work off the same fuse , change the fuse for a new one they can sometimes look ok but not be

I have a flexible solar panel but im going to make a frame for it and stick it on the roofbars ,the vans in our bodyshop next week and I don't fancy sticking it to the roof ,plus I suppose that will make it easier to move it around to catch the best of the sunlight, I looked at a sterling battery to...

solar and trojans

Im about to purchase 2 6v Trojan batteries and have a couple of questions if anyone can help , they will be running off a 100w solar panel but do I also connect them to the split charge relay ? if so what is the best size cable to use ? they are 225 ah batteries . thanks jeff

well I've had a bit of a problem today :( fitted a new alternator belt and a 14.50 voltage regulator to the alternator and as was well until today when the red dash light came on , checked the back of the alternator and it's only producing 11.90 v according to my multimeter

Just a quick update , been using my remote for a couple of weeks now and it's working fine , runs its cooling down phase the same as if I used the control box to turn it off

after driving for a couple of miles I now have 14.10 at the starter battery and 13.85 at the leisure battery
