Re: replacing pop-top with high top

I did that to :ok my camper, the old pop top roof was leaking and I couldn't get any spares to repair it. I bought a second hand hightop. The only fixings on my roof is Sikaflex and it is solid. And without getting into a pop-top vs hightop debate it is the best thing I done to mine.

Image needed, Autohomes Komet

I need an image of the Komet wording on the front doors for a 1990 Autohomes Komet. I have searched the internet but all the images are either at an angle or a low quality image. The reason I need this is I am getting a new decal kit made but they need the image as big as I can get it and close up. ...

Re: Wood effect on doors peeling

Right, the vinyl is ordered and just got to wait a couple of days for delivery. I will take a picture before and after of my interior. Let's hope it goes well :?

I will have a set of them when they are available. I have been looking at making some but at that price it's not worth messing. :ok

Re: Wood effect on doors peeling

I will let you know how I get on with the rest of the doors. If it goes ok I might start a little side line business.

You sound like you have fell out with vinyl in the past. This was the best match I could see and I was happy with the colour. I must say that the vinyl I used has stuck like s@#t to a blanket.

Thanks guys, yes I am pretty pleased with the result. The link below is the company I used and the colour.

Re: Tow bar

I'm not sure of the make of my towbar as I bought it secondhand. Basically you remove the bumper then the brackets that are bolted to the chassis then the towbar brackets replace the bumper brackets. Bolt the main towbar to the brackets and the bumper then bolts to the towbar. The electrics were qui...

Re: Tow bar

Hi, I fitted one to my camper and I was surprised how easy it was.
The towbar I fitted fitted using the chassis mounts that the rear bumper brackets use. We have two young boys and found taking a trailer was the only option when on holiday.

Wood effect on doors peeling

As the title says the wood effect finish on my doors are peeling on my Autohomes camper. Does anybody know the best way to get these refurbished. I don't want to bodge them as the camper is in original condition and I don't want to spoil it. Any advice would be appreciated as I'm not sure what to do...
