Dose any one know what the idea of the 2 fuel expansion tanks in the front wheel arches are for? Only im pretty sure the fuel hoses have cracked and fallen off .. or I have a big rusty hole in my fuel tank. I am thinking of dropping the tank and blanking off the expansion feeds. Would this cause any...

i think it was just a bit jammed up kev , i took off the choke housing thing to see the thermo sring thingy , pushed and prodded the lever while holding the throttle open . put it all back together and she started a treat , reving higher than normal but then going down after a short warm up :) thank...

right , got the top off and the choke flap is wide open ! the engine has not been run today so should be closed nearly all the way . what would cause it to stay open ? i gave it a gentle poke ,but it dose not move . dose it work on some sort of vacume ?

hmm . maybe , i only just bought it 2 weeks ago . it could be aftermarket . why would some one of done this ? ill look for an engine code .

ok wikipedia has answered that , so they are engine codes . still my engine has a carb ? these codes are both for ingection models ?
