Does any one know the size of the sump bolts for a jx a couple of mine have rounded I have managed to remove them 2 of them go into the crankshaft seal housing the ones I have in my hand are size 5 Allen key and the thread is 25mm long but vagcat says m6x22z1 can anyone clarify this so I can get som...

Clutch slipping 1.6td jx
I'm having trouble with my clutch slipping at top end in 3,4,5, gears I can change gear with no trouble and pulls well from standing start and in 2nd gear but it slips in 3rd gear when I put my foot down I have bled the clutch but still no joy clutch was checked 2 months ago when engine was replaced...

My charge light doesn't come on at present I was in process of getting new alternator I just wanted to see if I had done it correct my relay is in the engine bay so may look at doing the way you suggest which is the best to take the ignition feed from

Split charge relay wiring
I have fitted a 100a split charge relay kit that was recommended on here and I have used the alternator charge light wire as the trigger as it says in the instructions but when van is running the light is staying on what have I done wrong?

i currently have normal steel wheels 14 inch on my bus at the moment i have bought some 15 inch rims the shop i got them from told me to fit 195/65/15 but after doing some research i keep getting 195/70/15 will be better to keep the speedo correct etc what have you guys fitted with no problems?

Yeah that's what I got the only problem
I encountered was the o ring to the engine block came out so I used a tiny amount of automotive silicone just to hold the o ring in made it much easier
