Are all engines relativly easy to transfer to other types?
Presumably if its air cooled it need to stay Aircooled? WBX needs to be swapped for other WBX? diesel needs to stay diesel?
Guess this is a general question about engines?

Has anyone seen that if you type f_o_r_d t_r_a_n_s_i_t without the _ it is transformed to ford transit. Guess the creator is not a fan!

when looking at vans get the one with the best body work, bugger the engine they can be fixed replaced alot cheaper than panels , tho dont get one that has just been re sprayed, unless it comes with before during and after pics! .....Yeah, been thinking the same thing. Welding is not my strong poin...

Ha! class! Just been to look at an 82 1.6 Air cooled and that is a simple looking engine. I was looking for the crank handle and the candle ignition system! They tell me it suffers from a compression issue. Is there this a common fault? Are there any other "common faults" with the VW engin...

Hi All, New to the site and to T25's to please be gentle!!! Sorry if this is duplicate post, I looked around the site but could not find what I needed...... I am lookin for a new project and want to get a T25 (if you know of one in the cheshire area let me know). Can someone please advise on engine ...
