Re: Propex exhaust
Thanks Rosie n Jim
Not an issue according to Propex fitting the stealth kit which is about 1.5 mtr exhaust. Heater will be beneath the RnR bed. Just can’t see an obvious route when lying underneath the van.

Propex exhaust
Hi, has anyone vented Propex exhaust out the back of the van? And, if so, where did you route it?
Underslung waste tank makes the side option problematic.
Thanks

CI rigid sided pop top solar
Has anyone with an early, rigid sided pop top (double side flaps) fitted solar?
Was wondering how you routed the cables.
Thanks Nick

dashboard soundproofing.
Read somewhere it helps to soundproof behind dashboard, when out.
Cannot find link but my dash will be coming out soon, what should I be looking to do?
Assuming the garage will let me whizz in and spend some time insulating/sound deadening before they put it back together.
Thanks Nick

Re: fridge voltage drop
Thanks Steve... took your advice. All wires 16 or 20+ AMP leisure battery earth cleaned and seems fine. Still got the voltage drop when turning fridge onto 12 volt. The only thing I haven’t replaced or bypassed is the split charger itself. Its doing it’s switching job but wonder if wire out of split...

fridge voltage drop
12volt element was not working checked voltage and this was low caused by a drop at in line fuse. Replaced this healthy 13.9 when engine running delivered to 3 way switch. when placing switch to 12 volt only 11.94 comes out and heads off towards the element. Is that correct is the switch faulty or i...

rebuild or re manufactured engine.
Not a technical hands on person when it comes to mechanicals but. '82 air cooled 2ltr is in the garage and things look suddenly pretty grim after years of being reliable and smooth if slow. It seems likely that the engine will need replacing/rebuilding but the're still digging. The garage mechanic (...

Seat swivels
Is it possible to adjust the clearance on a sportscraft seat swivel? There is a big nut but unsure if loosening this will do the trick and still be safe. Fitted one years ago but just fitted soundproofing and carpet on wheel arch and now there isn’t enough clearance to use without damaging the carpe...

sliding door will not close
'82 T25 sliding door will not close at back. It looks as though the rear central lock is jammed in the wrong position and will not open when it hits the strike pad on the van body. Not sure what has happened? handle moves the link bar ok, but perhaps stiffer than I usual??? Have taken it off wd 40 e...

Re: hob/sink suggestions
Thanks for the welcome and advice Bob, I had cleaned what I could, baulked at the thought of dismantling or rather reassembling parts of a gas system, but will take another look. Pretty difficult to get at without removing the entire unit which would mean taking out some of the base unit... Now, whe...
