Many thanks for that Aidan.....yer think your right...took it out today sump plug was as you said!
im sure you get asked this a lot....but what sort of job is it to do im a very skilled chap to a degree and no you are very busy at the moment.

gear box rumble
hi i have 1.9 dg with a four speed box (abd) when driving any gear its rumbles...let of the gas quite....?
i had same noise on my mk2 golf output shaft baerings gone...would this be same problem?oh iv change oil.

got it around my neck there....i called it the header tank....the top up tank was fullCovKid wrote:Have you tried removing the sensor in header and cleaning it? Mine will do this if the contacts are not clean.

hi,right got a baffler here...1.9 dg just returned from a very nice week in northern Ireland,on the way up to cairnryan from lincoln (300miles) we just got to the port and the water light started flashing...pulled over header tank full,now this happened last year so i replaced cap (VW) and thermosta...
