Too much pressure!?
My 1982, 2 litre air-cooled T25 is causing me some problems. Since having its MOT when the engine is up to temperature and the van is being driven, under load, there was a backfire through the carburettor. In turn this would then blow the brake servo pipe off, killing the engine. You then couldn't d...

Re: Brake servo pipe keeps blowing off
Ok I will have a look, I have a suspicion there could be a small air leak on the inlet manifold on that side. This could be contributing?

Brake servo pipe keeps blowing off
Hi, I have a 1982 T25. 2 litre air-cooled. Just got it road legal after six years in the garage. Starts easily, idles good and drives well. Or so I thought. Once the engine gets up to temperature and you are driving the van struggles for power and then the brake servo vacuum hose blows straight off ...

Re: Interior trim clips

Interior trim clips
Hi, I have just been fitting my newly covered door cards and the genuine vw trim clips won't hold the cards in place. I have resorted to using fir tree clips for the rear door cards as they won't be removed again. (Hopefully) however I don't want to use them on the sliding door as that panel may nee...

Fiberglass tailgate
Hi, I have replaced my old rotten tailgate with a new fiberglass one from giddy campers. It looks great and will obviously be ruat free. However I am having a bit of a problem with it closing. It fits perfectly without the struts attached. Everything lines up, the shut lines are good and the lock fi...
