Re: Air in fuel lines
Thanks for the advice Gents, much appreciated as always. Colin, I followed your advice to the letter, cheers! :ok I left him running for a while but I still have a fair amount of air bubbles running through the inline pipe and nice froth coming back along the return. An air leak somewhere I presume?...

Air in fuel lines
Hi Gents, After some advice as usual please. Basically our Westy ('90, 1.6TD JX) has been laid up a while and now won't fire up. Battery is full charge, alternator and starter motor cranks over but no firing, just a small amount of exhaust fumes. After reading a few posts I think its a problem with ...

Re: weco in a westy
Looks good. I have now completed the surround for mine. I have bought some tadpole trim to edge it but still can't find any laminate. Any suggestions? As I mentioned in the reply to Neil, i'm only needing a piece 630 x 430mm. The piece left over (ie the middle bit) I'll use on the front of the fridg...

Hi Neil,
I need a piece 630mm x 430mm. I've replicated the original surround, as you did. I've not heard back from Jed/CVC.

Cheers for the reply.
I've just checked out the Go Westy laminate, which is not a bad price, until the $75 shipping is added. I've emailed Jed at CVC to see if they can stock it.

Re: weco in a westy
Good day all,
I've recently bought the new Waeco CRX50 fridge (£400 off ebay!). I'm planning to make a new fascia/ surround as Axeman has. Can anyone advise where to buy grey laminate?
cheers

Stone stuck in the tyre tread? That makes a right annoying click click click as you drive along.

Re: vibrating gear stick
Have you check the plastic pads on the fork on the bottom of the stick? I had 'lost' mine. Stuck new ones on. No vibration.

Suspension pop/knock
Good day Gents, I'm back for more of your expert advice & help please. The front right suspension has, what i can only describe as, a pop/knock as it goes over those dreaded speed humps and some pot holes (the ones i don't avoid). The sound is heard as the van goes over the bump and starts to re...

Please excuse my ignorance, is the diode within the alternator? I've been having discussions with our electrical dept. at work and to be honest most of what they said went over my head. Electricky is not my thing, as they say.

Re: New alternator?
Cheers Ghost.
Brush pack was replaced about 3 months ago. Changed to see if that was cause of flickering light. No change. I'll get the meter out later.

New alternator?
Hi guy's.
Is it time for a new alternator? for a while the battery light has been flickering, but now its a constant on with no rev counter. Not had chance to get the meter out to check yet. But do we think it's on it's way out?
cheers,
Rob
