Im very late spotting this and very sorry to hear. A sh***y reminder for the rest of us to appreciate life in the moment.
That is a rough rollercoaster for both of you. Keep the positive mindsets going, all the best with the future treatment.

Re: Syncropendence 2023
Yes thanks for sharing the pics, really nice to see. Sorry we couldn't make it. Eimear had been shortlisted to participate in the Galway Film Festival pitching competition, which sadly took priority over SP. It was a tough weekend of practicing the pitch and keeping the baby entertained in wet and w...

Re: Syncropendence 2023
Definitely not a thing to be desired! Thanks for sharing the pics, it really does make a difference imho. Who knows , I might just make it next year! Ditto. The pictures are greatly appreciated. As our wedding was called off (dodged a depleted uranium shell, there) I departed for the homeland inste...

Re: Tin top to Pop Top v High Top pros and Cons
As Steve says, for a camper the practicalities of a high top far out weigh the limitations. You can park up and get the kettle on while standing up without having to set up a pop top or crouch over. Particularly handy when just stopping for lunch or to break up long drive. Loads of fixed storage, cu...

Re: Seem Rash (Camper & Bus)
Xenon headlights on a cavalier??? Is that your own mod or original? Bound to be ultra rare if original. What are they like for getting parts? Not many of them left now. Even though we pay the vw scene tax, it's great that most parts are easily obtained. Although it's getting tougher and the prices a...

Re: Syncropendence 2023
It's a solid maybe from us :) We have a trip to Spain in May, Eire Syncro in June and SP in July. It all hinges on the first big family adventure abroad. If all goes smoothly and everyone has a good time, we will do everything. The other side of the coin is that the family have a mare and don't want...

Re: Engine battery drain?
I had a faulty interior light with the previous camper that killed a few batteries before i figured it out. It was a westy fluorescent tube light and the starter had gone. It was hot to touch even with the light switched off. Replaced both fluorescent tubes with led strips, worthwhile mod
