Problem solved - the rotor arm was fitted 180 degrees out of sync........

Van now running well. :ok

That's a lesson learned - read the haynes manual fully before starting a job and never start a job when tired.

Good morning folks. My camper has had an intermittent fault all summer - it cuts out randomly, and also won't idle. I replaced the coil and ignition amplifier but this has not helped.
