Tailgate Repairs
Hi folks, not been on for a while and was hoping you could help so that I can feel the love for the van again. Tailgate has the usual rests mess at the bottom lip and was looking to see if there was anyone out there who stocked repair panels (similar to sliding door repair kits). New tailgates seem ...

Re: Fitting LT mirrors to T3 Syncro?
Just to throw another option on LT/ Syncro/ truck mirrors. Found this post last night that claims LT bottom brackets came in 2 designs - early, flat bottom bar or late - syncro style bottom bar. It would seem that I have the early flat bar mount option rather than the later style. So next question i...

Re: Fitting LT mirrors to T3 Syncro?
Bucket babe
The mirrors I bought off eBay have a part number of 291 857. This different part number must effect the bottom bracket. The whole centres on my mirror are smaller than the standard centres currently on the van.

Re: Fitting LT mirrors to T3 Syncro?
I have also been trying to fit LT mirrors to my Symcro and have found that the screw hole centres are different. Was hoping to use the Brickwerks bottom bracket so that it was a straight bolt on however lack of bottom gasket has scurpered that idea!! Winch weight, what part number is stamped on the ...

Syncro/ LT Mirrors
Hi folks, hoping you could assist. Many moons ago I bought a set of LT mirrors off eBay. After storing them in the shed, I have decided to fit and have had them powder coated. Having looked at the wiki, I am unsure how to fit exactly. The mirror has a part number of 291 857 513/514. From looking at ...

Re: window rubbers
I have just bought a load of window and door seals from Chris at VW Emporium. They are in the process of getting fitted to the van just now. Quality looks great and Chris gave advice on which seals to buy as I wasn't needing any of the bundle kits. Delivery was prompt. Dave
Re: fast idle
Ray, I have had the same problem on my van (2.2 Audi conversion) and have never managed to get to the bottom of it. In my van, the problem is extremely intermittent and could be fine for ages then all of a sudden the engine is racing on idle. I have found that by revving the nuts off it clears the p...

Re: window surrounds
You can get them at VW Emporium. I am just about to place an order for my van. The only part that you can't buy new is the fixed quarter light seal however Chris at Vw Emporium did say he had good quality used quarter light seals in stock.

Re: Cab Door Seals
Thanks for all the info guys. I have brought the seals home from the garage this weekend to give them a clean, so hopefully they won't look to bad once installed. There doesn't appear to be any damage to them as biggest concern was water ingress into the door. Looking at the title I posted was a bit...

Re: Cab Door Seals
I was wondering if I could buy parts to make the fixed light openable. Does anyone know if this is possible or is it not worth the bother.

Cab Door Seals
Hi folks, hoping you can help. Simon,
Can you let me know when you get another delivery of s/s syncro pipes. If I need to wait too much longer I will need to pay the garage rent for the van!!!
