Thanks.... have new paper gasket so will give it another go... just rather exssesive to take engine out to get to two bolts!!!

Hi All, after a good few months we finally finsihed my AAZ conversion on my van... it runs beautifully and can now travel up hills on the motorway with out it turning in to a white knuckle ride!!!! Ive just fitted the stainless pipes and its a pain.... we had to drop the petrol tank and the pipes arent marked front or rear so it took us a while to work out which one went where!!!! I have to say it looks really neat now and the old ones were rotten so was a well needed upgrade. Good luck Hx

Dont think the AAZ will fit because of the angle of the engine and the engine mount...... I dont want the air intake to be next to the exhaust either??? Confused.com

Help............ Ive searched on Wiki and seen a photo of a rubber banjo that then allowed the JX turbo air intake to be fitter under the engine mount. Ok now im nearlly nearlly there, any one else done an AAZ conversion and needed a flue pressure pump??? engine ticks over but it you use the diesel primmer gently it runs sooooo much better.... Also what air intake set up have people used.... Im aware I dont want to be too near the exhaust??? We hav...

Hmmmm pictures than means being techi... i can try. thanks for the help im sure i will get there in the end. How do I know what input shaft it needs to be... sorry havent done this before. I have a cs recondition gear box ( in 2011 ).

Hi All, ive read the wiki page and trawled endless pages on line but Ive melted my head by doing so. I have a 1.6 diesel CS engine in my van and want to fit a 1.9aaz turbo. ( which Ive brought) I just need a definate answer if the sump, enhaust manifold and airbox from the CS will fit or help where ...

Need to replace front seats
My 1984 converted panel van has really grotty seats so was gonna head down the breakers for a pair of seast, I think I had read on that any vw, audi seats will fit. Am I right or do i need to look out for any specific seats/brands. Cheers

Tried them, they have just relocated to new premises and cant do anything for several weeks!!!!
