Re: Can i fit these?
Al, those headlights look nice..... They fit real nice hey. Sit in a good position too, ie not too deep in or sticking out too far. They look almost stock when they're turned off expect for the kind of dark tinted / clear lens appearance. I'm still working on the mounting solution for them, i'm not...

Re: Can i fit these?
I don't have a twin grille, but here's a pic of them fitted on my van if it helps. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8619/15958900192_6770c796f6.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8585/15772154358_f9b840b2a2.jpg Lloyd is correct, fitting is really easy with only two holes to drill in the lower grille p...

Re: Maybe caving in and buying a Waeco CR 50
A good trick to use with a front opening fridge is to keep the fridge contents in Tupperware style containers.
That way, when you open the fridge door you are only going to lose the cold air that's in between the boxes, rather than all of it.
Makes a significant difference!

Re: no dashboard lights
I get dash lights until I start the engine!
Sounds like a different issue to me, check your earths first. You'll find those on some crown shaped things behind your fuse box. Clean them up and make sure there's no dodgy wires/connections. Best to start with the simple things first!

Re: Horn goes off when I turn steering wheel...
ask Jedthespread to get some of these imported from gowesty  : Funny you should mention that, should have some of those arriving this week at some point. No springs with the horn ring kit, but should save some money over buying the entire assembly from the main dealers. http://www.gowesty.com...

Re: Keep killing 12V USB chargers
Same item as CVC only ten quid cheaper at £16.50 Thanks for alerting me to this, it's been a little while since we ordered any Blue Sea stuff as we placed a big order a while back. Seems as though the prices must have come down since then as we were a very competitive price before. Need to have a w...

Re: Keep killing 12V USB chargers
Got high quality, dual 2.1A output USB charging sockets here: http://campervanculture.com/shop/blue-sea-dual-usb-charger-socket/ As far as i'm aware they're the highest quality USB sockets available. Don't think i've seen any others that are dual 2.1A output either? I have one in my van for charging...

Re: waeco fridge
Correct, a Weaco compressor fridge will run on purely 12v. No need to buy a 240V converter unless you want to plug it in at home. As previous people have said, if you have a decent 240V charger that is activated when you use hook up then this will replace any power used by the fridge. My set up uses...

Donkey = Diesel - all about the torque.
