Re: Broken Solex 34 PICT Auto-Choke

Couldn't a new piece be migged on and ground until it the right shape? I think thats what I'd do.

Looks like that may be the only option as it's slim pickings out there in terms of these carbs, beyond my skills but I know someone who could probably do that for me.

Thanks for that..

Cheers

Re: Broken Solex 34 PICT Auto-Choke

don't want to dash your hopes, but I really couldn't find anywhere to source a new 'spring pusher' part. It's actually the whole axle that the pusher is on that will need replacing and it is called the 'Choke Shaft' or 'Choke Arm Assembly'. In the end I just waited for another carb to come up on E-...

Re: Broken Solex 34 PICT Auto-Choke

Hi, I am having the same issue with the 'Spring Pusher' on the right carb.. Have just received a replacement carb which has the same bit broken off - does anyone know if this part can be sourced anywhere. Not sure what the technical name would be but I haven't been able to find anything. Thanks Martin

Re: Tow Bar Question

Thanks guys, this is more information than I expected. It's the early Witter version part number VW9A. As faggie says you also need the spacers and spreader bar that goes behind the bumper. The one in GTavalance's picture is the later version VW9C I have managed to source the spacer I require. The S...

Re: Tow Bar Question

Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. The person I acquired the tow bar from had a CU Engine on his bus. I have come across this on google: http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=552708 This guy was selling the exact same tow bar for a T25 and on the same post selling a Back Box for a T...
