Took the control panel off and everything seems connected. WD40d it and it slides easier now but can't see anything wrong. I'll have to either put up with it or replace the valve - not sure I want to do this since some people are saying it won't make any difference. Think I'll just put the window do...

Dash Heater
Thanks for the advice. I was going to look at it yesterday (Sun) but it poured down all day long. I'll post in what happened when I get to it - might take as long as the weekend though!

Dash Heater Always Hot
Hello Everyone My dash heater seems to be always on no matter how much I move the control sliders around. I've tried every permutation I can try and there's still hot air coming out. It's getting pretty hot in there! It has been like this since I got the van a year ago but I want to sort it b...

Where do I get engine hoses for 1.9 petrol?
One of my short hoses broke in THE engine and spewed water allover the spark plugs which stalled my van. When I looked at the other hoses and the fuel hoses they are all getting old and cracked. Does anyone know where I could get a complete set of hoses for a 1.9 petrol 1983?

Thanks for Door Mirror Advice
Thanks for previous suggestions on fixing my drooping door mirrors. Yes it was just a case of taking them off and tightening the 10mm nuts. Problem solved.

Re: Anti-freeze - Green!
I've checked my header tank with anti-freeze checker and the liquid is light green. Is this anything to worry about? The checker says that it will do for -27.

Re: Anti-freeze
You're probably right. But I'll put it on the debit card so it's not really money...is it?

Anti-freeze
I bought my 1.9 petrol T25 1983 at THE end of the summer and now I'm worried that it might not have anti-freeze in it. I have the following questions: 1) How I check for anti-freeze 2) How I check for G12(?) anti-freeze 3) How I check I have the right ratio (50% water) 4) Where I can get VW G12 anti...

Why is my Leisure Battery Disconnected
Bought my van 2 months ago and the leisure battery is disconnected. I want to just connect it up again but:
a) I don't know what a leisure battery is for
b) worry that it was disconnected for a reason I might not know about
Can anyone shed any light?
