Re: No Brakes
Cheers guys for comments. Fluid was changed last month I just did not alter driving style for old discs rather than my work vehicle back home. Lesson learnt I hope. Alps then round back through Alsace to come.

Re: No Brakes
Kev
Spoken to my mechanic in UK. All fluids have been changed, I just need to change driving style for intermittent braking to allow for older discs. They are ok today. Auvergne region of Volcanoes is incredibly hilly.
Cheers

Re: replacement rear bodywork behind bumper
Cheers guys
It's not bad to look at as it is fully painted over but the entire length is filler. It spoils the good state of repair of the rest.
I'm ripping apart in winter for refit and small welds to chassis corners and will source a cut out for then.
Thanks

replacement rear bodywork behind bumper
All
I need to replace the bodywork directly behind the rear bumper all along the width as well as the lower under sills attached both sides. What is the best place to get new. VW Heritage looks expensive.
Thanks.

Fridge doesn't work
Hi all I have a 1980 with original Electrolux fridge that i just can not get to work. With fridge switched on the back gets hot which i assume is the heat exchanger but the fridge itself does not get cold. At the bottom left is a switch and a button I have assumed to be a gas ignition next to a igni...

Re: Devon fresh water tank
Thanks All
I am going to purchase a large inexpensive Water Jerry can and drop in the pump for now. This will allow us to travel around over the summer, get to know the bus and our needs of it and give me a better idea for the refit I will do over the winter.
Cheers ALL

Re: Devon fresh water tank
Many thanks Alice,
I had thought that was the case but really would like to stick to VW tradition and keep things as they were.
Yes otherwise it will be a trip to a caravan shop.
Cheers and regards

Re: Devon fresh water tank
Thanks all for replies, Firstly KevtheRev sorry I didn't intend to be impolite, I totally agree manners are the last thing left that are cheap these days. Bottle is dashed with cracks and holes, laminated from age and I will not be using it for drinking water or more correct wife will not let me. No...

Devon fresh water tank
All, help I have just recently bought a lovely 1980 air-cooled T25 and drove it back from Scotlant to Kent with no troubles. Among a few things is a really bad water tank in rear that sits between rear door and wardrobe. It has Devon in large letters on it's front. Can I get a new one anywhere or am...
