Same as mine, 1982 non turbo 1600 diesel. Smoke on start up is normal for me. Havent changed injectors but have changed glow plugs, WITH INJECTOR PUMP IN PLACE. 8mm ring spanner with grease on it, a shoelace to pull ring spanner, flatblade to start nut on glowplug.
