Having similar problems, will see if any of these suggestions provide the fix... fingers crossed.
Always the same, just get the van through it's MOT, get ready to sell and then it plays up. It just loves me and don't want to leave I think.

Black Smoke
After 2 months of behaving itself my 2.1l T25 has started playing up again, no power when it warms up and belching lots of nice black smoke ( black, not white or blue). Overfueling ? Anything I can do with this black box ? Carbs I can play with but fi is a dark mystery. Or is it time to get it back ...
