Thanks Kev the garage drained the tank last week and told me sender is fine as for pin connector I can only identify 2 one on the left that works the head lights and a long thin one that connects into the back of the fuel gauge pod on the right both look ok but until I find my manual dont know where...

Having the same problem at the moment brand new battery but gone flat in a week, today I have disconnected all extra cables that lead nowhere so hoping that will stop the drain other than that I am at a loss.

Fuel gauge 1600 ct
Hi guys fuel gauge not working on van have been told tank sender unit is fine so it must be a gauge problem. I cant find my Haynes anywhere so don't know how to test it. also where on earth can I buy a new one as I can't afford a whole new dash pod.

The guy said that it had internally colasped between the float bowl and the main chamber so fuel was not getting through properly, going to pop out and have a cleen as been told this would not happen so probably just been ripped off

Hi there just had mechanic round and my carb is knackered and need a new one asap I have about £50 pos a bit more can someone please tell me what I can replace it with as looking on ebay but dont know what I am looking for anything to get it running by monday will be fine

Thanks its the point wher the caliper mounts to not the actual caliper its the cast iron bit on the steering knucle where the two bolts screw into the caliper is fine, other option is to drill the thread and put a longer bolt with a nut on it

I havnt Micky I will try to get a pic on. the two bolts are on the steering knuckle/Hub the two bolts hold the Brake caliper in place, I have a few ideas but someone with a bit of engineering equipment would prob get them out in a jiffy, Hoping the welder along the road can help. thanks for the repl...
