They have done a vast amount of work on him he even has nice new stainless steel coolant pipes front to back. As is normal with these vans you fix one thing only to show up another but...

Re: Typical - problems with the ruddy cooling system AGAIN
Thanks guys, didn't get to try and fill up again until this evening...bad news, despite attempting to fill under pressure as per the wiki instructions and having done it successfully quite a few times before, we couldn't get a significant amount of coolant in at all, the header tank level was just n...

Typical - problems with the ruddy cooling system AGAIN
Well dear Bert passed his MOT and was running splendidly when he started overheating alarmingly again yesterday...no loss of coolant or anything so can only think it is a blockage somewhere. My lovely husband is currently flushing the sytsem yet again despite it being Father's Day. Wish us luck!

Re: Installing electric hookup
I use one of the camping type electric hook ups, and just run the flex out of the window, if we are actually in the van - I have those little rain guard thingies on the top of the window so it seems to work ok. Alternatively there is just enough space at the bottom of the sliding door so that flex d...

Got a replacement at Brikwerks _ quacks most beautifully;-) fitted and flushed out heater hoses etc ! Have filled the bus up again, bled the system and taken it on a tentative couple of miles and burping the radiator when we got back so hopefully it might be fixed. Fingers are crossed.
