Bert is just back from his second visit to Simon the West Yorkshire Wizard at Brickwerks. I am a very happy camper. They have done a vast amount of work on him he even has nice new stainless steel coolant pipes front to back. As is normal with these vans you fix one thing only to show up another but...

Well dear Bert passed his MOT and was running splendidly when he started overheating alarmingly again yesterday...no loss of coolant or anything so can only think it is a blockage somewhere. My lovely husband is currently flushing the sytsem yet again despite it being Father's Day. Wish us luck!

So .... new thermostat, new water pump, new thermo whatsit, new dalek cap - first replacement form JK didn't quack, got a VW one from Brikwerks which quacks beautifully. Flushed out hoses (again) quite a lot of rubbish in heater ones which didn't come out first time- coolant in, revving all the time...

Got a replacement at Brikwerks _ quacks most beautifully;-) fitted and flushed out heater hoses etc ! Whenb flushing coolant system, do I need to flush heater hoses and if so how?
