Re: Brake Compensator Valve

Simon, Think one of my mates in our workshop has one. I can get my hands on pretty much most kit. I noticed it on the previous MOT but since then I've been serving queen and country in sandier climates which means the van was sat idle. Re: Brake Compensator Valve

Hi Simon,
Thanks for the quick reply. After seeing the part for myself i can see why its failed. Question is where can i get one from? Do you know of anyone? I checked your site, JK and a load of others from google search to no avail.

Cheers Matt

Hey javawolf don't worry. This shouldn't be a problem this is not a reason for failure and they shouldn't fail it if you end up taking the vehicle to DVLA. A pass is a pass. Mine passed last week with the KPH and headlights being lh. Having seen a copy of the MOT bible I know whats in there :)

Cheers pictonroad/James. I thought it might have been something to do with the batteries. Aint had much time to give it a good going over they say a mechanic neglects his own vehicle! Hadn't heard of a zig unit before. Are they worth having?
Cheers once again

Lesiure Battery/Wiring

Hi there Folks, This is my first post since joining yesterday and looking forward to being a member so here's my first question. As well as having the Lesiure battery under my seat there's more cabling under the bed. Is this for another battery by any chance? I've got an 89' Westy Hightop 1.6 diesel...
