Re: Suspected Head gasket failure…fix or sell?
Cheers guys yes I’ve contacted a couple of VW specialists in the area just waiting for them to get back to me. I’ll try and have a better look at the header tank tomorrow too. It’s just that it’s not even on my drive and I’ll need to get it towed wherever it goes! The recovery guy was great but as i...

So coming back from the Forest of Dean on Monday the van started letting out white smoke and losing drive, so pulled over on the M4 and got her recovered back to Bath. After calling the local specialist it seems it’s probably the head gasket gone. He can’t fit me in till at least January :( To be ho...

Hi all, Posting this on behalf of my mate Kev who has just had his van resprayed. He has tried to replace the windscreen and windows with new seals (with help from his son), but can't seem to get them back in! Is there anyone out there in/near Andover who could offer some brut-force/assistance with ...

Re: Help - recommendation for tomorrow
Hi Louey, I stayed 3 nights at the Lower Lode Inn near Tewksbury a few weeks ago. You basically park on a small field next to the river (Avon I think!?!) all within the pub grounds. Its a lovely 16th Century Inn that does a great choice in ales/ciders and food, and all for a tenner a night including...

Re: Scenic Spots at Bristol and Cardiff
Hi Melvin,
You could park up by the Clifton Suspension Bridge as there are some lovely views from there. If you go to Bath, then it's nice to park around by the Royal Crescent and take in the fine views - I've often done this when having a takeaway! Have fun whatever you do!

Re: One night stopover in the South West
Cheers Louey - I did think of that...I think the leisure battery could cope for one night. I was thinking of just parking up near the coast but I may now go to the Bagwell Farm site in Weymouth as they have room
