Hi , can i ask where you got your new igniter from? I have an issue with the same model but nothing has come up on google. Also was it quite easy to pull out to take a look at what was going on.

Thanks David, it bearly made it home this evening, looks like it may be on its way to the garage on a tow truck. Will post how i get on and check out the other posts as suggested.

that’s great thanks David.Will look up the names you suggested. Anderton MOT have used before, although he was so busy last time he wasn’t taking on any work on VW’s as had such a back log.
