Re: Exhausts 1.9 DG

Stainless steel by Speedshop is what recently fitted to mine. A real sturdy quality bit of kit & fits great. Slightly louder but has nice tone to it. More than welcome have a look at it if yours hangs on till after Busfest.
Certainly worth that small difference in price for standard systems

Interior opening of tailgate

Has anyone ever rigged up handle or release system to open rear tailgate from inside ?
Would imagine todays H&S would insist this was possible if on new vans and really feel this would be great idea as escape route in emergency.

Re: Bike rack recommendations...

With regret I sold a Fiamma recently because of having respray thought would be less risk to damage paintwork. Bought a 4 bike tow bar mounted one and have now found it heavy and cumbersome and lot more messy to use than old Fiamma. Find I'm not taking bikes along so much this year only advantage is...

Re: autosleeper overhead slidy over thingy

I like having head at the tailgate when sleeping but agree if feet that end is useful to put gear and can lay in bed looking out slider on a nice morning on but somehow feels so much comfier head at back.

Re: High Top or Pop Top for kids

After having tintop & high , with kids there's no competition. Go High ! After 4th year of the Auto sleeper now wouldn't cope without the added height and comfort and enough storage for family of 4 to manage for a week no problem. Yes the beauty is from within not the outside but practicality wi...

Re: Berlin bus fest 2012

Am now awaiting confirmation from work if I can be allowed the date.(but may find a new job by then :x )Agree the logistics are a big thing on this one if group travel is an idea but perhaps a gathering could be arranged so could be discussed around a cosy campfire.
