Re: Lambda Sensor
I bought mine from Sutton Auto Factors SAF who are a motor factors in the Midlands....just make sure it's a decent brand like BOSCH/NCK/Beru etc not some cheap copy, I've heard Thompson are a notorious brand to avoid) Mine was an NCK (NGK) at about £46.00 (NCK is part of NGK, known for spark plugs)...

Re: Lambda Sensor
If you have an MV (or orginally an MV) that would have the lambda probe then yes.. the system doesnt like it and runs in a default mode, uses more fuel and doesnt run quite as nice.. You need to check what engine code you have and what ECU you have also.. But poor running can be put down to a lot o...

Lambda Sensor
Hi All I've been running my Multivan for a few weeks without the lambda sensor connected. Vans run nicely, for most part. I've had to disconnect the battery a few times, to reset the ECU as its been racing, or at start up in the morning running at 3000rpm! So disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes...

Re: Bubbles in Water system
eer.............I didn't say I actually knew how to do it. I was just pointing you in the right direction......have you a Haynes manual? I have seen it done and actually 'helped', but not enough to go through it for you. Have you tried the 'Search' facility too? Or post a question asking which tank...

Re: Bubbles in Water system
The last thing you want in there is air - bleeding instructions are in the Wiki. Can do it on your own, but a hell of a lot easier with two people I believe....... Thanks, and I realise this should be in a differnet section!! The wiki refers to a header tank, expansion tank, and to ignore the tank ...

Indicator Issue
Third post of the weekend. My Hat Trick
My Multivan's indicators work perfectly most of the time. But, on longer journeys, the relay makes a noise like a small clockwork toy and the dash light stays on solid, not flashing. Relay change?

Bubbles in Water system
I checked the water levels on the Multivan this morning. There was no water in the tank behind the number plate. Topped it up with 50/50 red anti freeze and water. I've notice, when the engine is running, there is a continuous stream of small bubbles coming from the left hand pipe in the same tank. ...

T25 Dimmer switch Burnout
Hi, new to the forum, have had a T25 Multivan for a year or so. I replaced a faulty dashboard cluster with a Vanagon set from the US but the Headlight switch had a different pin arrangement so i used the one from the old cluster. ( The difference is 10 pins on the old one, only 8 on the US version a...
