Re: Tristar Value
Whether or not I buy it is not in my hands. I have made an offer and it has been accepted, subject to something affecting the seller - which is not within my control.

Re: Tristar Value
If you look back through the thread you will see I was 'corrected' in a similar way regarding spelling so I'm just getting my own back. Photographs in due course. Patience, patience. Future posters watch your spelling, or you'll be pulled up too!

Re: Tristar Value
I have photographs of the Tristar and I have seen it and driven it and made an offer for it which has been accepted subject to something the present owner has to clear first. I shall know within about a week whether the deal is on. Some responses are indeed very boring, I wonder why people bother to...

Re: Tristar Value
Happy new year to you too!
To which of the upper value figures do you refer for this crew cab based vehicle? What would be your upper value figure?

Re: Tristar Value
I forgot to add that we would be doing no off roading which would risk any part of the Tristar being ripped off. We both own 4 wheel drive cars at present and enjoy their abilities - but not to the extent of causing them any damage and the same would apply to the Tristar. It would be regarded as a v...

Re: Tristar Value
The present owner has e mailed me a zip file containing 8 pictures of the Tristar taken in August this year. Overall the condition could be described as superb. There are signs of wear on the drivers seat and a small water? stain on the headlining near an interior light but otherwise the interior lo...

Re: Tristar Value
lee. Thanks for that. You succeeded in making me chuckle with anticipation. I think we'll stick at one Syncro but maybe try a little careful off-roading with it. Hope we meet up sometime.

Re: Tristar Value
Mick & Tracey. Thank you so much for your considered and very interesting response. We wouldn't ourselves be using the Tristar as a workhorse but as a leisure vehicle to enjoy on days out and to visit VW shows and events. We would appreciate the extra luxury of the cab and we don't need to consi...

Re: Tristar Value
Titus. I'm glad to see that your ill-tempered response is now being outnumbered by kindly well-thought-out responses, for which I'm grateful. May the true character of the group continue to shine through and outweigh the spiteful brigade.

Re: Tristar Value
Taigagreen. Thanks for your kind and helpful posting. I don't understand the jibe about lame questions either. I've only asked one question - what is the likely value range for a well-described Tristar Syncro Crewcab? Some people do seem very bad-tempered - no doubt there is a good reason for this b...

Re: Tristar Value
lloydy. I am for real. It's not a wind up. Everything I've said is true. I'm asking for help in establishing a guide range for the value of the Tristar Syncro, based on my description - not a firm "price". lee. Thank you for your kindly response which is appreciated and is helpful. I have ...
