Re: Oil breather location....
Hi Bobdogs I fitted Dellortos to my 2.0CU last year to replace the knackered Solexs, they are brilliant. Cant help with the oil breather though, as I have just left the pipe open pointoing towards the back of the engine bay, do intend to fit a small filter at some point but does not seem to throw ou...

Re: Fitting an LPG tank in place of my water tank?
I took the internal water tank out from my Viking, as when we bought the van we filled it up and it split, nicley flooding the van with quite a few litres of water! Converted the space into storage fitting a removable shelf to split the area, you can get most things in and out of the lower part thro...

Re: ZIG CF8 auxiliary battery charging
Hi CJH, welcome to the club. For those of us who live in or around Nottingham I can recommend Vehicle Wiring Products Ltd, based in Ilkeston for a wide range of electrical bits and pieces and other vehicle related goodies - good website listing available products. PS I also have a Viking - might see...

Re: Solex or other?
I agree with Jasons mpg values, I fitted Dell 36s and have been surprised with the relative economy compared to the original Solex's, which were knac*ered.
The're not a cheap option, but once over the intial pain well worth it
Good luck

Re: Screen seals
Panicked a bit when I read this thread, as had ordered a front screen seal and rear side seal from Status, however when fitted by Dead Dubs the other day, they said they went in fine, and so far in the current snowy conditions in Nottingham have had no leaks, as I would have had before - so fingers ...

Dellorto tuning
Hi Where is the best place to go to get my Dellorto 36s tuned? Fitted them about 12 months ago and originally set up locally on a rolling road, ran fine, but the guy didn't have specific Dellorto experience. Recent mot test said that the engine was running rich. Looking for recommendations preferabl...

Re: Max Revs 2.0 CU?
Thanks for the replies guys, the reason I ask is that I have just bought a rev counter, and wanted to have an idea of where I should draw the limit - presuming it will reach 5000 rpm!
With regards to oil pressure, don't know as don't have a gauge for oil pressure yet.
Cheers
