Re: T25 with rover v8 fitted
You can get one made. A few companies will make you an all alloy high efficiency one. I priced one up a while ago. The guy was talking about £500 if I remember correctly. Google it. You would need to send him you original to take dimensions etc. I am thinking of replacing mine at some point to cool ...

Re: Scottish Syncronauts September gathering and offroad weekend
Chiz just cooked his engine so his van wont be there. I'll make sure he is though,
Eric said he'd be there in his Doka as well.

Alko Style towbar and big bumpers
I currently have the westy style swan neck towbar and it works with the big bumpers but I want to swap to a alko style bolt on tow ball towbar so I can fit a Dave Cooper style motorbike rack. I also need to be able to drop the ball down a bit as the van is a Syncro and has been raised quite a bit. D...

Re: New Paint Job - Lovin it.
My van is the only van that I know has been dipped. The first owner worked for VW and had it dipped at Hanover before he took delivery of the shell. He then built it up from a Syncro he had crashed. Every other T25 has had a coating added. When painting you cut out rust right back till you get good ...

Re: New Paint Job - Lovin it.
The vans tended to have something applied but as is evident by the main problem being seam rash. The seam sealer between panels ages and cracks. The water gets between the panels and hey presto rot. If you look at a bay or split and they tend to rot just about anywhere . My van was immersed in a vat...

Re: New Paint Job - Lovin it.
My van went through the galvanizing tank at Hanover. Didn't want the galvy removed.

Re: New Paint Job - Lovin it.
Thanks mate. Been wanting to do it for ages.
My "friends" got me by strategically placing the string from a bit of gaffer tape on the new paint. It looked like a deep scratch. Boy did I freak. B@stards got it on video as well. Am expecting to see it on YouTube soon.

Re: Please sell me your syncro camper
Never been deep enough. It'd enter the van through the door or the Webasto exhaust before it went throughout the vent. I want a compressor fridge so I can do away with the vents.

Re: Please sell me your syncro camper
I'd sell mine but not for less than £18k. Just back from the paint shop (a proper paint shop) Looks amazing. Galvanised, VR6 very useable (better than a westy) interior. Don't want to sell it but would sell it because I just don't get to use it anymore. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7074/7281066836_...

New Paint Job - Lovin it.
Here is a photo of the Van from Volksfling at Biggar in Scotland. Weekend was fantastic. Sun never stopped shinning. If anything it was too warm on the Sunday. I got the van back from the paint shop last week and I am well happy with it. I got the same colour but with extra metal flake. I had added ...

Re: syncro solstice 2012
Wonder how many of them have aircon. I've been in the outback in the back of a ute in blazing heat. I would not fancy the van in the heat without aircon.

My first UK Ltd Company was called AVAGO. Because that is exactly what I was going to do. "Have a go". It wasn't because I hard. I'm a bit soft in the middle.
