Vakenberg is nice especially for the Christmas market,it has a almost Alpen feel I the winter time. We stayed on the campsite on the top of the hill overlooking the town the week before Christmas.

Hi .... yes Ive been to Cow Green reservoir, we went up one day for a walk in that area, across to highcup nick. Was a nice day but a little cold and windy, decided to stay overnight in the car park, woke in the middle of the night as I needed a wee, and went out side to see the most wonderful night...

Hi Half way between Perigueux and Bergerac on the RN21 is a small town called Pont st Mamet there is a campsite run by a Dutch couple called Camping Lestaubier. Very nice and fantastic for small children but also cool for adults too.

There is a campsite at South Sheilds right on the beach and a 15 min walk from the ferry across the tyne to tynemouth ........ just an option.
