Pop Top Peril....
Hi,
Driving down the M23 the other day the poptop came open at 70 miles an hour.
Not good. Seems the front clip has pulled free of the bodywork.
Does anyone know anywhere between Brixton and Brighton that could fix it?
thanks
Ben

Err - not specifically. :( Thanks to advice from everyone.... I have my suspicions that having checked the CVJ's, got the right clips put on the engine, fixed the fuel pump, got a new starter (admittedly unrelated - but great!), had the wheeles balanced twice, that it may be a buckled wheel or somet...

NEW UPDATE! I know it's very exciting.... well at least for me anyway. Broke down again on Friday - Turns out the wire to the fuel pump from the engine had somehow split and got wrapped around the CVJ boot. Hence engine not firing. Spliced cable all well in the world - seem to have more power now as...

It's been with Darren at VW Airfix down in Carshalton, Unfortunately he didn't manage to get it to the requisite speed in that part of London.

Back again unfortunately - you'd think it'd be sorted by now eh.... Anyway to add to the problem (the shudderring continues although it's been in the garage for various things for the last 3 weeks) - and maybe it's linked, but we've now run out of petrol twice. Fuel guage says there is plenty...

Fridge gas
Ah - see mine has a little flap under the door on the left hand side.
Helpful if you are a gnome, but not for regular folk.
need to press face hard into sand and crumbs to see the flame.

Ok,
Have now had van serviced, CVJ's checked and the Wheels Balanced.
Still got the bloody problem.
Any other ideas?
Could it be Engine related?
Thanks again.
