Few pics of project
Hi Been reading the forum for quite a while thought I would post a few pic's of my project, her name is Bertha. I got her 4 years ago drove her to Austria and lived in for 3 months after owning her for 2 days. Since then I've had her patched her up to keep her on the road but decided that the rust b...

Re: What is this tank?
Thanks I'll have another read, must have missed it the first time.
I've not got one on the other side but my van has had a few extra bit and a few missing bits as we've gone along.

What is this tank?
Hi all, Sorry if this isn't in the correct place. Firstly I've got a 1982 LHD Westy Joker I've been stripping my van down (with a lot of external help), we've got all the interior, the engine and most of the rot cut out. However, there's a tank under the drivers side door and We're not sure what it ...

Re: Garage in Hertfordshire (or nearby)
Not particularly VW specialist by any means but if its general there's a garage in Barkway that my girlfriends family uses for MOT's repairs etc. They've used them for years and always been friendly, honest and reasonably priced.

Re: Will a VW passat engine fit into my t3?
I'm currently having 110bhp AFN TDi fitted but should be running around 140bhp. Lots of power and economical but a lot of money to have done. 1z 90bhp is more common and cheaper to do. But you will require longer gears fitting to your gearbox. How are you finding this? After taking my van off the r...

Bodywork In Sheffield-ish
Hi I've currently got my Van stripped out and in need of some body work (mainly just new sills) and then a respray but the friend who was going to do it for me can't any more. So I'm now looking for a recommendation of any good body shops who deal with T25's ideally in Sheffield or Yorkshire but I w...

Removing 82 Westy Pop Top Cooker Unit
I've just stripped out my units ready for some body work to be done and I've taken loads of photos/ written how I did it in (hopefully so I can get them back in). Anyway I thought although the instructions might need checking they may be useful to someone. N.B I've put the fridge removal in from bri...

Re: Removing Gas Pipes
Thanks made the cut today and got everything else out no problem.
Turns out all I'll need to put it back together is a coupling from Graham plumb centres costing a mighty £2.50

Removing Gas Pipes
Hi I’m currently stripping out my Westy T25 camper for the first time and thought I was doing quite well . But I’ve got all the gas disconnected fridge and cooker unit out but I’m left with one long piece of gas pipe running from where the fridge used to be right through one of the pop top cupboards...
