Re: fog lamp on import Wiring diagram
Yeah, that is the only bit of fog light wiring there is but it only goes from lhs to engine bay junction box, where it just sits unconnected. There is nothing coming from the front into the bay that is not used as far as I can see. So am pretty sure I need to do all wiring from switch to fuse box to...

fog lamp on import Wiring diagram
After 7 years or so I have just failed an MOT on a missing fog lamp. I have modified the RHS bulb holder and tracked down a dashboard switch. However, none of the wiring is there (I know some have it just not wired up). Does anyone know where I can get hold of a wiring diagram for the back of the fu...

Looks like he's bought the domain name but not got the website site built. If he's looking for a website designer / developer http://www.timpeat.co.uk I'd be happy to offer it in exchange for time taking a look at my clutch.

There is one in the "Kamper Manual Type 25 February 1982 to November 1990 1600 & 1700cc Diesel and Turbo Diesel".
You need a magnifying glass but its the only one I've come across.

Unfortunately new pipes aren't that readily available over here. I've tried every bosch diesel and vw parts shop I can find in Athens with no luck. I'll get some shipped out. Apart from the juddering the clutch seems to work fine. Apart from checking the mounts is there anything that does not involv...

KY 1.7 Diesel pipe from pump to no2 broken x3
The pipe from the diesel pump to no2 has snapped three times in the last year. It's getting a bit frustrating. Anyone experienced anything similar or have any suggestions as to what I can do? The pump seems to be mounted securely but there is obviously something wrong. The first time it snapped I pu...

No the van is behaving fine at the moment and coolant and oil look don't look too bad. I'm about to do a fairly big trip across Greece on Wednesday which should help establish whether this is a persistent problem or not. Not being used to running a vehicle, I guess I am a little paranoid about anyth...

Thanks for the advice. Can I just check what I should be looking for in the oil / coolant. I drained the cooling system when I put a new pump and pipes in about 1000km ago. I used the pink recommended VW coolant to replace it. What should it look like if thinks are going wrong? In terms of the compr...

1.7d power loss please advise
Sorry this is such a long post, I'd appreciate any advice as to how to approach this. Worrying development in 1.7 diesel (KY) 1988 T25 high top (4 gears + reverse). This weekend our van lost all power when driving up a slight incline, which it would not normally have had any difficulty with. I was n...

Oil type for 1.7 Diesel in Greece
I know there are numerous threads discussing oil type but I cannot find one that covers my specific request. I have a 1988 1.7D T25 and am driving it in Greece (i.e. HOT). Can anyone advise on which engine oil I should be using?
