On a slightly seperate note but still bed related lol My bed is the same as yours but find the metal sliding posts at the bottom are forever coming detached!!! The small bracket screws keep coming out. How is yours fixed at this point?

I have exactly the same problem!!! I had it when first bought Lilly and a garage found one of the hoses had a small split sucking in air and weakening the mixture. He sorted that but I now have the same problem again. I have changed all ht leads, plugs, distributor, rotor arm and coil. I do about 6 ...

Can I just say have found Pilgrims Way at Fishtoft near Boston. Lovely site well worth a visit, reasonable prices and all made to feel welcome. Have been for last 2 weekends as fairly close to me and bumped into a few vw owners. check out website.

Luckily got a hire car at the moment so will have to drive to volksheaven see if they can get them then.

Well thank you all!!! I do have a second battery fitted behind the passenger seat which just has to wires to each terminal. I'm soooooo confused lol
