Re: Laying new floor-Fill the gaps

I'm having to replace my units too. So later I will post a thread with the suppliers of Superva and Vohringer I have found with the prices and delivery charges. Also how many sheets you will need ( for kitchen unit plus wardrobe side I believe its going to be three which will leave half a sheet over...

Re: Laying new floor-Fill the gaps

Hes cutting em out, varnishing and then yep hes glueing em down. I just didn't want him to do unnecessary work for himself

Laying new floor-Fill the gaps

A friend of mine is very kindly lying a new floor for me after water ingress from badly fitted window soaked old one. He is a perfectionist and is busy cutting out marine ply to fit in the gaps in the structural ribbing, before laying the new floor which will then all be varnished three times before...

Re: Well I bought a propex but Im thinking Genny instead.

Thank you guys I really appreciate the advice. I never intended to run a genny for more than an hour anyway , however as i now seem to have found someone to install at a more sensible price I can go with Propex. But the advice re leisure battery was v wel appreciated as my next question would hav be...

Re: Well I bought a propex but Im thinking Genny instead.

hi,now look we go off wilding it for weeks at a time zero hook up,zero sites, we hide away in interesting places, we do lots to avoid drawing attention to ourselves and the the thought of a genny is pure utter folly and not needed, not needed for back-up and not for anything else. get your propex f...

Re: Well I bought a propex but Im thinking Genny instead.

I may be saved theres a guy on Plymouth air cooled enthuisiasts (PACE) who fitted his own and hes said he will help me in New Year. Then I just need it checked by lpg gas sure engineer. I do agree totally re the noise issue but it is an interesting back up plan.Seems like most peoples issues are the...

Re: Well I bought a propex but Im thinking Genny instead.

OK Few simple facts about me I don't use electric hook up from April to September. I have a hot water bottle and the dog to keep me warm in bed, battery operated led lights and a gas hob n grill to cook with so I cant really see need for leccy hook up unless I want to charge mobile. When i have had ...

Re: Well I bought a propex but Im thinking Genny instead.

tbh i dont use a leccy hook up from April to September. Its going to be for winter camping and i certainly would nt be running it all the time only when i actually needed to use it for the heater.

As for cost I can sell my brand new propex to cover cost of Generator

Full strip down some welding Respray inside and out, wheels. Lining being reglued on high top and they are putting in my silver foil insulation at same time. Full wazoil underneath and on interior panel. Just under 4k

Re: So Im having a respray- but what colour

Thanks guys that is the colour I have opted for but I was just trying to get other opinions re the other options. Seems my gut instinct is right although that deep burgundy does look lush lol

Il keep her traditional and enter her for show and shine lol
