Re: Any idea where the other end of this brake pipe is?

Mine went in exactly the same place. As everybody says, goes to the t piece at the back. Had to replace all the rear pipes and hoses as they were all seized and had to take a grinder to them to get them off! Was a bugger to do but at least its done now. Didnt drop the tank to do it but am definitely...

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

I'm sure this has probably been asked before so please forgive me if it has. I've just had a few new panels fitted. Do I need to sand back the grey coating on these and prime before rustoleuming or do I just flat back and go for it?
Cheers

My van is keeping me awake at night and I'm having trouble sleeping...........not because of the stress but the countless hours spent on the forum and internet looking for help and advice on what I should do. Those who have seen (and replied) to my previous posts will know what the main problem is b...

Re: Trickle

This one? http://www.maplin.co.uk/solar-powered-1 ... rger-98358 How much charge does it actually put in on a good day? Do you just leave it on the dash? Thats the one, leave on the dash or use suction cups on the window, they are a bit longer than an A4 sheet of paper but not as wide (if that make...

Re: Trickle

You can get a solar panel trickle charger from maplins for a tenner. If you have an active cigarette lighter (doesn't need the ignition on to work) you can plug it in there and it will provide continuous charge, if not connect it straight to the battery. As what Kev said tho, maybe time for a new ba...

Re: Need to source a Replacement Ignition Key

The one that works the central locking wont work in the ignition or open the sliding door, the one that works the sliding door works in the ignition. Think at some point I...

Re: JK engine?????

Thanks for the reply Ewen I have just been and checked myself and it is definitely a JK code engine and definitely has a turbo fitted. Cant see the point of rebuilding it for it to go the same way. Not too sure what to do next. Think it might be more economical to replace the whole engine with a don...

JK engine?????

Just got back from the diesel specialist as still trying to sort out my smoke problem. He had a good look at the engine and said its a JK code. Is this right, I was under the impression it was a JX! Anyway, he says timing is out, its miss firing, theres a few leaks from the injector pump and there i...
