I have a really frustrating problem with my T25 1.9 petrol water cooled there is an intermitent fault she runs really well for a while then all of a sudden stalls at every stop and wont pull away I have to apply high revs and when I try pull away the power dies and she won,t go and stalls again then...

temparature gauge not working
1989 t25 1.9 water cooled petrol. red light in centre of temp gauge started flashing when engine cold. then when i re- started the engine the temp gauge is now not working. any ideas of whats happened cheers
